An article citing an industry report states three reasons why provider organizations are replacing their archiving vendor.
In our experience working with clients, there are common red flags that can be found amongst archive projects with a vendor that won’t be able to deliver, especially for a healthcare provider that needs to archive a volume of applications over time.
Harmony Healthcare IT has the expertise to exceed expectations. We have experience with over 550 software brands, including other archives. We are an archiver of archives because our team can deliver results and push through barriers to get the job done. Learn more in this video.
We realized that that our archiving vendor was not up to the challenge. We had some hard deadlines that had to be met and significant financial penalties if we did not meet those deadlines with that children’s hospital acquisition. So we decided at that time that we needed to pivot away from that archiving vendor and look for a new vendor that we thought could be successful in meeting our deadlines.
Harmony Healthcare IT is a referral grown business and I attribute that to three things. We educate, we differentiate and we just get the job done. So, by education I mean that it’s a consultative sale. In the early days, we would talk about, you know, what is an archive? Why is it important to consolidate these data silos? Should your archive be discrete data or PDF? On premise or in the cloud? Should it be a license, a subscription? You know from us that you’re gonna get an expert point of view. We’re gonna help you rationalize your application portfolio and prioritize the system decommissioning. The competitive landscape, sort of broadened more vendors entered into the market. And I would also say that provider organizations became a little bit more mature in their thinking about what they wanted out of an archive solution. So, that’s when we started to differentiate, you know, talking about what makes our solution more secure, what um makes our search better, our transaction posting collection agency management, release of information workflows, purging the list goes on. So, differentiation is important. But I would say in an interesting, turn now it’s all about professional services and just getting the job done. There was a recent report released by an analyst in the industry that covers the archiving space and it cited three reasons why provider organizations are replacing their archiving vendor. They’re missing data, they’re missing timelines and they’re lacking integration with the EHR and at Harmony Healthcare IT, we’ve got all three of those nailed. We’ve archived over 500 unique system brands. And in that list, it includes archiving systems. So, we are actually the archiver of archives because our team can deliver results and get the job done no matter what barriers are in its way.
