New CDC Survey: Over Half Of U.S. Physicians Adopt an EHR

As reported by HealthDay News, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics has found that over half of US doctors are utilizing some sort of electronic health record (EHR).

What’s more, 85% of those surveyed indicate satisfaction with the system’s operation in their day-to-day workflow.  We’re very pleased with this number.

While not all of the physicians surveyed reported meeting meaningful use requirements, the majority of them did indicate an uptick in quality of patient care as a result of EHR use.
