Matt is a Senior Lead Developer at Blue Elm, where he plays a central role in the design, development, and ongoing support of the company’s software products. In addition to hands-on product development, Matt contributes to project planning and scoping efforts, helping translate complex requirements into practical, well-designed technical solutions.
Matt brings nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare software industry, having begun his career in 2007. Prior to joining Blue Elm, he spent seven years at MEDITECH in progressive programming roles, most recently serving as Supervisor of Programmers for the Data Repository group. During this time, he developed deep expertise in MEDITECH database technology, data models, and system-level programming within complex, mission-critical healthcare environments.
At Blue Elm, Matt is responsible not only for building and maintaining core software offerings and supporting customer implementations, but also for leading data conversion and migration services. This includes designing, executing, and validating complex data transformations to ensure accurate, secure, and reliable transitions between systems. His broad technical background and deep industry experience allow him to effectively bridge product development, data migration, customer support, and system integration efforts.
