John has worked with healthcare information technology for over 32 years. He has been a pioneer in such areas as HL7, bedside monitor integration, and data validation. John worked at MEDTECH for 10 years leading the interface development team while also working on a variety of development projects throughout MEDITECH. John co-founded Acmeware, Inc. and then started Blue Elm in 2001 to push the boundaries of control and access users have over their healthcare data.
